This past weekend was full of interesting, Utah-inspired adventures.

On Saturday, John and I decided we wanted to check out the fall foliage popping up in the mountains, so we headed to Sundance:

We decided that we are big fans of Sundance, in all it’s wealthy, artistic glory, if for no other reason than the fact that it’s only 15 minutes away. Reminds me a bit of Mammoth, except smaller. But so does Park City. So maybe every mountain community is reminiscent of Mammoth? (Have I mentioned that I looove Mammoth?)

After Sundance, we continued down the canyon to visit Midway. Such a fun little town! There is definitely a strong Swiss influence there, so instantly it reminded me of Solvang (a kitschy but cute Danish town above Santa Barbara). What’s not to love about small town charm?

Of course, as soon as I saw the coffeehouse, we had no choice but to go in (as coffee is pretty much the anti-Christ in this state). And it turned out to be the cutest place ever, as you can see from above! We will definitely visit again soon.

On Sunday, I spent most of the day working on scrap-related projects and listening to a great blend of Pandora, podcasts, and YouTube videos. Just the right mix to keep me inspired.

To top off the weekend’s many successes, I got John to take a photo with me! In front of our patio storage closet! Because everyone poses in front of the storage closet, right?

oo, all your photos look so rustic. Do you put your cam on a special setting or something? or does it just actually look that way? I’m not kidding, I want an answer here.
