I LOVE snapping photos. I LOVE scrapbooking photos. But sometimes, I get overwhelmed by the crazy amount of photos I take and they just end up in a box (or on my hard drive), where they are neither seen nor scrapped. Cue the photo album!

While I realize this is not a new concept, it has filled me with a slightly embarrassing amount of joy. I love having all my photos in a single location, where anyone can flip through the book and wonder why I take several photos of my shoes (ahem, MOM). Plus, I never really share my scrapbooks with anyone (yet I post all my layouts online/ submit them for publication, so what kind of sense does that make..?) because I feel like they are only for me. Anyways, just thought I’d share this groundbreaking news with you…

And in other super exciting news, my San Diego scrapbooking friend Cherie and I are starting up our challenges again! Yes, I know I spend my occupational life either working on/thinking about/or actually making scrapbooks, but I love extracurricular scrapping just as much as I ever did!

So for this week’s challenge…

Let’s scrap a photo from the holidays! I know I’ve got 5 million (which are happily living in my photo album right now!), so let’s put them to use! Ready, GO!
