Last night was one of the best I’ve had since moving to Utah. I chalk it up to perfect weather, new experiences, and good company.

We headed down to Provo for the free gallery stroll (the first Friday of every month, for all you locals).

We saw some cool pieces. Hung out with college artists/hipsters (whom I totally dig, by the way). Made us nostalgic for our college days.

Happened upon the COOLEST boutique in the coolest location. Flower Basket Boutique.

And of course, I couldn’t leave empty-handed, so I bought a big sheet of paper to hang in our living room. Love.

Even after the galleries closed, we walked all over the downtown area. Provo’s got that perfect mix of historical buildings inhabited by modern establishments. Such a cool juxtaposition.

Marveled at how cool the blossoming trees look, even in the dark.

Decided to eat at a local Mexican food joint. El Gallo Giro. And despite the fact that John hates sharing, I got him to split his meal with me! Victory.

It was a good night.
