Project Life – Week Two…still as obsessed as ever. Let’s hope this streak continues for the next fifty weeks…!

One thing I did differently this time was that I started putting photos, notes, receipts, etc in the slots throughout the week, as opposed to just on Sunday. It seemed to go much smoother and allowed me to see what spaces I needed to fill in the coming days. I also wanted to include different types of memorabilia, so the beer bottle cap worked perfectly and brought in a fabulous shade of red (what’s with me and red lately?)! Oh! And I have to recommend these 4×6 journaling cards from Elle’s Studio because all you have to do is add a little journaling/embellishing and pop them in the slot. So easy!

This week I want to use a mix of page protector styles. I bought a bunch from AC and I’m hoping that it will keep things fresh and exciting, a la KP’s amazing weeks 1-2!

    The red totally makes it.
I guess you could add any extra house for the third wife in big love, right? hehe.
Do you ever have a problem with stickers on the outside falling off. I started doing that a little and worried about the longevity of it. Just curious. Thanks for sharing πŸ™‚

Ha!I totally should add another house! And in regards to stickers falling off…no problems yet. Usually I will adhere it with a glue dot and those babies don’t shift for anything! πŸ™‚

Your PL looks absolutely amazing so far! I love your use of color and texture. I just found you via January’s scrapbook trends mag. Love your layout, and your handwriting is perfection!

i am so loving PL, but am scared to take it on. i keep reading about it and going to Becky’s blog everyday! I scrapbook each year for my 2 girls – each their own scrapbook. Not sure how I would approach that with PL. Thoughts?

You would LOVE PL! The way I see it, it’s just a way to capture the ephemera and everyday “stuff” that you wouldn’t normally include on a layout because it might throw off the design. I think my favorite part about it is that it’s a lifestyle hobby that encompasses more than just Thickers and pretty patterned paper (although those things work too!). I would love to see what you come up with! xoxo
