Happy Monday! (Or is that an oxymoron?) Regardless, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend filled with SLEEP. Because that is all I can think about right now (;

And in the wonderful world of Project Life, I decided to merge weeks six and seven into a single spread. I felt like I was falling too far behind and I could barely remember what happened yesterday, much less two weeks ago. Quarter life amnesia. But I’m glad I did because I was able to get it all done in only a few hours and now I can focus on this week. Ahhh, feels good.

Feels like a big Valentine’s color palette explosion, no? Ha! I really am making a concerted effort to stay away from the “scrapbook-y” look ( what I refer to in my head as “cut the crap” – haha), like I’ve mentioned before. And that is not to say I don’t love scrapbook supplies. I LOVE them. I just feel my style is headed in a new direction and I think Project Life is the perfect place to expand on that exploration. Man, I love to get all philosophical about my paper, don’t I? (;

I had a good time including some of my latest Etsy purchases, including a note from Jamaica and two tags from Paper + Parcel. I also had to get a refill my favorite washi tape because lord knows I can’t PL (new verb) without it.

All good things.

    I love your “anti-scrapbooking” mantra… I’m struggling with my memory-keeping identity as well. Can’t wait to see more of your take on Project Life!

    That’s so interesting you want to get away from scrapbook-y look on your PL. Especially when you are in the industry. I guess if you worked at an ice cream shop, ice cream doesn’t look so good anymore.

    Your color choices are so fresh! You are really inspiring me to try to brighten my PL look. Can you tell me how you type on all of those small pieces? I don’t mind my own handwriting, but really love the look of typewritten journaling – not to mention the fact that you can squeeze in more words!

    I love the layout of your page. I’m moving in a similar fashion with my project life…incorporating more things from everyday and less match match paper.
    Thanks for the inspiration.
