Happy Saturday!

I’m currently in the process of switching from Etsy to a new shop site and am only planning on bringing just my favorite stamps (plus a bunch of new designs!)…the greatest hits, if you will (; I’m really excited about a change of scenery and the opportunity to start fresh. Change is good.

So in the meantime, I thought I would give away one of my very favorite stamps! From now until Monday night (10.29.12), share one of your favorite Fall traditions in the comment section below for a chance to win!

xoxo

Our favorite Fall tradition is getting ready for Halloween. We were never fans of the day until our son was into costumes! On the week of Halloween, we decorate our courtyard, decorate pumpkins, get the candy basket ready and we surprise our son with what costumes we will be wearing… This year it’s all about Star Wars (the little man’s fave)!!! It’s going to be an AWESOME Halloween!! THANKS AnnMarie for the chance to win one of your fabulous stamps!!

Well, here in MT we don’t have much of a fall. It kinda goes from summer to winter! Lol Anyways, these past couple of years I have made a point to get a picture of me with the leaves. I am glad I will have these pictures to look back on! πŸ™‚

Well, living in the valley in Arizona we don’t have Fall (insert extremely sad face)…. But we have a place called Schnepfs Farm we go to every year. Pick pumpkins, eat hot dogs, ride the train, pig races, petting zoo etc. We go every year and it’s nice to have that family time even if it is still 90 degrees πŸ˜€

For thanksgiving we do the “thankful basket” where everyone rights something they are thankful for and then after dinner we read them and try to guess who wrote what. It sounds cheesy, but its really fun and touching!

Oh how I am excited for fall!! My favorite is when my mom gets all the decorations out decorate from Halloween to Xmas. The fabulousness warm smells from the lit candles, cool crisp days, and having a fire in the fireplace to snuggle up to with some cocoa! One of your stamps to be stamping some craft projects would also be oh so enjoyable to add to the fall fabulousness!

I’m a pumpkin fiend. Like the dad in the Christmas Story who loves turkey, I LOVE pumpkin. Because I’m trying to watch my weight, I leave my pumpkin hoarding to the weekends and every weekend bake (or cook) a new recipe involving pumpkin. Pumpkin pasta, pumpkin rice krispie treats, Pumpkin Better Than…Cake, Pumpkin Bars, pumpkin cranberry bread, the list goes on…I can’t wait until my boys are old enough to bake and cook with me πŸ™‚ for now I enjoy watching them indulge in my pumpkin treats.

Last year I stopped my car for foliage photos all the time. I can’t wait to be able to do that again in future years. I also love hot tea as the weather turns cooler!
