On Sunday, I convinced John and my brother Andy to go with me to Disneyland, partly because the weather was springtime perfection, but mainly because I wanted to test my new 50mm lens in the most colorful setting possible. Mission accomplished.

As far as camera equipment goes, this macro lens is such a steal considering just how fantastic it really is! The sharp depth of field blows my mind every time… even if does force me to stand a mile away from my subject to get more than just their nostrils in the shot – ha!

I love how you say for the weather, but mainly to test your new lens, haha! I have convinced hubby to go to the park with myself and our girls, because really I needed more photos to scrapbook hehe! Amazing photographs!

I love your Disney photography. You make that lens look good! I have been dying to know and since we are visiting in April, please tell me, what is your favorite vegetarian meal at Disneyland? I remember you mentioning it but can’t find out which one it is! Thanks!

Hi! I really love the lentils + salad options at River Belle Terrace and the fried green tomato sandwich at The Hungry Bear. I also love the tofu skewers from the Greek restaurant in California Adventure, if you’re visiting that park as well. But there are PLENTY of other veggie options to choose from! You can always customize your order too. Hope this helps! xo

What a fun post! I’m visiting one of my best friends in Southern California next week and you’ve inspired me to see if we can add Disneyland to our agenda. What is your favorite Disneyland spot? I’ve never been!
