Here in Utah, the weather has been far too summer-y for my taste, making my favorite fall things (boots, sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes) a little bit difficult to enjoy these past few weeks. But as of today, the temps are dropping considerably (oh happy day!), snow will soon be blanketing the mountains (gorgeous!) and I am feeling super inspired to get my craft on (hallelujah!)! Sound the trumpets, it is officially crafting season! (:
Lately I’ve just been grabbing a handful of supplies (or a Studio Calico kit box) and plopping down on the living room floor to scrapbook while watching TV. Definitely one of the highlights of my day. Especially if it’s raining outside, John’s nearby, and Modern Family is on. (: Here are a few of my recent layouts:
I’ve been having such a good time playing with paper again! It felt like I would never get back into the swing of things for awhile there! I do have to say, three things in particular have been adding an extra layer of fun to my craft time: busting out my old Slice, and using this and this from Paislee Press. In regards to the Paislee Press kits, I am by no means a digital scrapbooker. Never have been, probably never will be, but I LOVE anything hybrid! Being able to print my own scrapbook supplies? Yes, please! Liz’s use of the journaling tags + the woodgrain paper in her Project Life album inspires me to no end! Obsessed!
