You guys, I have a new obsession that is taking my life by storm: custom pencils!

I recently had a bunch made in a variety of colors with a few different phrases and I can’t wait to share them all with you next week. As you can see by the photo, I had my brand name engraved on a set of hot pink pencils (obvious color choice?) and I want to get your thoughts on something: would it be totally weird / totally awesome if I stuck a pencil with “Ann-Marie Loves Paper” in my shop orders? Would you use them? Snap them in half? I’m thinking it would be a fun little “gift” to include with all orders during the holidays. Tis the season to be jolly, after all. Let me know how you feel about this whole pencil biz. I am genuinely interested in your opinions.

Happy Friday!

xoxo

p.s. I am totally doing a giveaway tomorrow. Of the stamp variety. Stay tuned.

I think it would be a great way to make your customers “stand out”. I would use mine to fill my planner( yeah I still use the paper one).

Love it! I would definitely use it. I remember collecting cool pencils in grade school… those were the days.

I’m a huge fan of pencils, especially if they have good erasers. Another shop I’ve purchased from has small wooden pencils they include with their order and I still use it daily. Always room for more. Perhaps bouquets of freshly sharpened pencils? πŸ˜‰

i think custom pencils are great…something different from the current “stamp” trend that everyone seems to be doing —you could be on the start of something new and wonderful!

I LOVE the pink pencils and if I received one, I would proudly use it πŸ™‚ I did exactly what you are suggesting – and sent custom pencils to clients in billing statements. They were Mood Pencils, changing colors with your mood just like the rings from the 70’s. What a hoot!
